Everyone watches the Grammy Awards for different reasons. Personally, I’m most interested in whats hot and whats not on the red carpet and throughout the entire event. This year, the 56th Annual Grammy Awards had fashion lovers on the edge of our seats but there were a few looks that had us covering our eyes. Now it’s time to reflect on what we saw this year, the -hot- and the -not so much-
1. NOTKaty Perry confidently strutted the runway in this musical piece. It was a creative and very interesting design but most definitely not a hot one. She gets an A+ for creativity but not so much for style.
Fantasia… There’s so many different layers of patterns and fabric choices, its confusing. It’s safe to say that there is entirely too much going on in this dress, she may want to put Michael Costello on speed dial.
Not hot. I’d rather not go into details, you get the picture!
Amber Rose looked stunning in this absolutely gorgeous gown designed by Naeem Khan. The gold compliments her skin tone and the sequins adds a touch of sparkle to complete this hot look!
Alicia Keys kept it simple and sexy with this very gorgeous gown designed by Armani Prive. You can never go wrong with royal blue or a plunging neckline. Flawless!
Another Michael Costello design worn by Beyonce this time. If I were to picture her wedding gown, this would be it. The combination of lace and sheer is flattering and the open back gives it just a touch of sexy but did she rock the hottest dress of them all this year? Eh. Maybe not.
7. ???Any other time I see Pharrel he’s in a bow tie and a blazer but he decided to switch it up the red carpet look. Casual with an interesting hat. Hot or Not? I’ll leave that for you to decide.
For the most part the men made good fashion choices. I was impressed!
